Reviewing My Buffalo Bills Preseason Predictions
The bye week has come and gone which makes it the perfect time to revisit some preseason predictions. I had some big misses, players I wanted to see take a leap in their play that in reality, were long shots. I enjoyed looking back and seeing how things are trending statistically and how the AFC East is currently unfolding. Lets start with the where I was wrong.
Bills vs Dolphins Recap
The Bills escaped a nearly perfect game by Tua Tagovailoa and the Miami Dolphins with a 30-27 victory. The Bills started slow and found themselves down 10-6 at halftime after a Jalen Ramsey interception on a bobbled pass by Keon Coleman ended a promising Bills drive that led to a 14-point swing. The Bills scored points on all four drives of the second half, where we saw five lead changes before Tyler Bass broke a 27-27 tie with a career-long 61-yard field goal with five seconds remaining.
NFL Trade Deadline: Do the Bills Need to Make Another Move?
The Bills traded for Amari Cooper on October 15th in a necessary move for the offense. We have already seen the benefits of this move, even if they haven’t been reflected in the box score. His addition has balanced out the receiver room and allowed the receivers on the roster to slot into the roles they should have been in all season. I don’t know if Brandon Beane needs to make another move, but if he is going to, here are some names that should interest Bills fans.
The Bills Trade for Amari Cooper
All of the attention was on Davante Adams and the Bills “monitoring” the situation over the last week before seeing the Jets finalize a deal with the Las Vegas Raiders this morning. At some point in the last 24 hours, the Bills changed course, or quite possibly went in the direction they had been going all along, and made a deal with the Cleveland Browns today for wide receiver Amari Cooper.
